CollectMemory ("we", "our", "us") is operated by AZTemi. This policy explains what data we collect when you use collectmemory.com, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth. We store this to identify your account and personalize the app.

Event and media data

We store the events you create (title, description, settings, cover image) and metadata about uploads made by your guests (file name, size, type, upload timestamp). Uploaded files themselves are transferred directly to your own Google Drive — we do not host or retain copies of guest media on our servers.

Payment information

If you subscribe to the Pro plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your plan.

Usage data

We log activity within the app (sign-ins, events created, uploads) for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. We do not sell or share this data with advertisers.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the CollectMemory service
  • To authenticate you and manage your account
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • To send you transactional communications (e.g. billing receipts)

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

3. Third-party services

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

  • Google — for authentication (OAuth) and file storage (Google Drive API). Your files are stored under your own Google account. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — for payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information and event records within 30 days. Files already synced to your Google Drive are not affected — they remain in your Google account under your control.

5. Your rights

You may at any time:

  • Access or export the data we hold about you by contacting us
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data from Settings → Danger zone
  • Revoke CollectMemory's access to your Google account via your Google security settings

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
